Andrzej Pietrzak becomes a new Partner at Innova Capital
Innova Capital, a leading private equity firm in Central and Eastern Europe, has announced the appointment of Andrzej Pietrzak as a Partner. This internal promotion will further strengthen Innova's position in the e-commerce, logistics, and tech-enabled B2B sectors, with the newly appointed Partner assisting the company as it seeks investment opportunities through the recently launched Innova/7 fund.
Andrzej Pietrzak has been with Innova since 2013, and prior to becoming a Partner he was Managing Director at the company. Andrzej’s years at Innova and his work on a variety of investments, including sectors such as logistics, e-commerce, and technology-based B2B services, have given him a wealth of sector and investment management experience. Over the last few years, among others, he has overseen the development of INELO Group and PEKAES and was responsible for handling Innova’s exit from both investments. He has also been involved in some of Innova’s consumer goods investments, including OSHEE and Bielenda Kosmetyki Naturalne. Prior to joining Innova, he worked at Advent International and UniCredit CAIB.
As a Partner, Andrzej Pietrzak will concentrate on identifying interesting investment opportunities for Innova’s seventh fund, with a focus on the sectors he was previously responsible for.
“It is a great honour for me to be able to be promoted to Partner at this particular moment when I am celebrating 10 years of working at Innova Capital. I see it as proof of the confidence the organisation has in my competence, and an opportunity for further development. I know many challenges lie ahead, but I am also very much looking forward to contributing to Innova’s further growth,” said Andrzej Pietrzak, Partner at Innova Capital.
This is yet another partner appointment at Innova over the past year, confirming the firm’s continued dynamic growth. “Andrzej’s promotion gives us great pleasure and perfectly sums up his decade-long commitment to our organisation. The experience and knowledge he has gained so far, plus his excellent teamwork skills, are sure to prove instrumental in the continued success of our firm, both in terms of new Innova/7 deals and the management of existing investments. We are confident that Andrzej will excel in his new role, and we will soon be seeing the first fruits of his work as an Innova Partner,” said Andrzej Bartos, Senior Partner at Innova Capital.
Andrzej holds a master’s degree in finance and accounting from the Warsaw School of Economics.
