Innova Capital acquires Punkta Group's Corporate Insurance Distribution and Services Business
Innova Capital, a leading private equity firm in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), announces its acquisition of Punkta Group's corporate insurance distribution and services business. This strategic investment marks a pivotal step in Innova Capital's entry into the dynamic and consolidating insurance distribution and ancillary services sector in the CEE region.
As part of its new growth strategy, the company will rebrand as ISON Group once the acquisition is completed. The ISON name is already well-established through ISON Care, one of the group’s subsidiaries. By investing in the company, Innova aims to capitalize on the robust growth potential in the insurance distribution and services space.
ISON is one of the most successful and highest quality insurance service providers in Poland and has raised Innova’s interest for several years. Innova plans to leverage the expertise of ISON Group’s seasoned management team to build an even stronger platform for organic growth and accelerate the Group’s acquisition strategy, strengthening its market position in Poland and expanding across the region.
The investment is further supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as a minority shareholder. EBRD brings extensive industry knowledge and international experience in fostering business growth, adding strategic value to ISON Group’s expansion efforts.
