Magdalena Pasecka becomes a Partner at Innova Capital
Innova Capital announces the promotion of Magdalena Pasecka to the position of Partner. The nomination strengthens the Innova organisation and emphasises the growing significance of the portfolio value enhancement and ESG functions within the firm. As Partner, Magdalena will continue to fulfil the role of Innova Capital?s CFO.
Magdalena Pasecka has been associated with Innova Capital in total for more than 10 years. She has long, successful experience in venture capital and private equity. She is a member of Innova Capital’s Investment Committee, participating in all key decisions regarding current and future investments. At the same time, Magdalena is instrumental in the creation of new funds and actively supports the fundraising process and investor reporting. As CFO she is specifically responsible for fund reporting, financial controlling and portfolio monitoring. In her role as Partner Magdalena will have increased responsibility for the portfolio development strategy. Innova’s portfolio is currently comprised of 12 companies from the Central and Eastern Europe region, with a diverse sector profile.

Magdalena joins Andrzej Bartos, Krzysztof Kulig and Leszek Muzyczyszyn as an additional Partner in the management company. - “For Innova, the development of key team members, who grow from within to contribute to the success of the firm, is of particular significance. Magdalena Pasecka has a Masters’ degree in finance and banking from the Warsaw School of Economics. She also studied at the Jan Gutenberg Universtity in Mainz, Germany. She has obtained the chartered auditor qualification and is a member of the of ACCA. Before taking the role of CFO at Innova Capital she was a management board member and finance director in MCI Capital, a listed company in the venture capital and private equity sector. Prior to MCI she cooperated with Innova Capital in the role of financial controller.
