Jarosław Mikos has been appointed as the new President of the Management Board of Polskie ePłatności SA. Janusz Diemko resigned from the position after eighteen months of managing the company.

On 5 December 2017, Janusz Diemko handed in his resignation from the position of President of the Management Board of Polskie ePłatności SA. The Supervisory Board of PeP SA accepted his resignation and decided to appoint Mr Jarosław Mikos as the new President.

Janusz Diemko joined the company in July 2016. His main mission objectives included the development of payment terminals and market consolidation.

Janusz achieved the objectives set for him by the shareholders. The company considerably increased the network of terminals and has recently taken over the e-payment business from Kolporter. In consequence, the scale of PeP’s business has nearly doubled. For Janusz Diemko this means the end of his mission. Therefore, he has decided to become a member of the company’s Supervisory Board.

“We highly appreciate his performance. By joining the company and commencing its extensive expansion in the payment service market, Janusz built a solid foundation for the further stage of development in this business area. It was not for the first time in his career that Janusz ran a company for Innova Capital fund” – said Krzysztof Kulig, a Senior Partner at Innova Capital, who supervises the fund investment in PeP SA.

“During the next stage of development of Polskie ePłatności, we intend to focus on expansion of our product offering, among other things, by the payments for e-commerce area. The work towards this end is at a very advanced stage. I am convinced that thanks to Jarek Mikos’s substantive skills, his ability to build efficient and fast-developing organisations, and the understanding of the e-commerce market he gained at WP, we will be able to bring the company to the next level of development” – added Janusz Bober, the Chair of the Supervisory Board of Polskie ePłatności SA.

Jarosław Mikos got started in business in 1995 at the Deloitte & Touche Business Advisory Department. In 1996-1997, he worked as a senior consultant at Coopers & Lybrand. In 1997-1999, he worked for a London office of PwC as manager and then Deputy Director at a M&A and Privatisation Department. In 2000, he became involved in the activity of Energis Polska; first, he was a member of the Management Board in charge of business development, later he became a CFO and in 2002 — a CEO.
